We, the United African Women Organization of Greece, are very happy to join the ENPAD Community: European Network for People of African Decent!
This past weekend March 23-25th 2018 Lauretta Macauley of our organization took part in the 6th ENPAD Conference Network Meeting in Cologne, Germany and was also elected as one of the new 5 ENPAD board members!
On Saturday March 24th Lauretta Macauley facilitated a workshop entitled “Empowering women against violence”. In the workshop participants shared their experiences of gender violence as they experience it in own communities and contexts. Women participating in the workshop came from many countries the UK, Belgium, Holland, Spain, the United States.
Many great workshops took place over the weekend, including one of Colorism and empowerment.
